We present you this extremely antique grey pastel artwork that captures a tranquil pastoral scene depicting two shepherds guiding their livestock beneath the grand arch of an imposing Roman bridge. The back of the painting reveals an inscription indicating the work of a Dutch artist dating back to 1665. While there are a few small cracks on the cardboard, the artwork seems to be its original frame which has been reinforced with adhesive on the back. The overall dimensions, including the frame, are 67 x 55 cm.
