Gilded Wood Mirror With Putti, Italy, 19th Century Very decorative and beautiful size putti mirror dating from the 19th century, made in the Italian Rococo style with beautiful gold leaf gilding. Trilobe-shaped on its upper part, it is topped with two winged putti emanating from a cloud. The perimeter of the mirror is an interlacing of acanthus leaves, bunches of grapes, mistletoe and sheaves of wheat. It ends in a point with a pretty acanthus leaf and scroll decoration. Beautiful golden patina and fine sculpture, perfect for enhancing an entrance, for decorating a chest of drawers or for illuminating a recessed space.
