Directors and partners
Anna Modigliani and Didier Zanette
Anna Modigliani has joined Didier Zanette in his business in 2017. Combing their collections and expertise, Zanette & Modigliani have launched Modigliani Antiquités. Mrs Modigliani has been surrounded by art and antiques for as long as she can remember: her grandparents were part of the Russian intelligentsia who collected rare objects d’art, such as 17th, 18th and 19th century French, Italian and other European furniture and art pieces.
She has graduated from Moscow State University, the country’s leading university. Her education, as well as her subsequent professional experiences, has equipped her with the knowledge of art history, communication skills, and understanding of aesthetics. She is responsible for PR and marketing of Modigliani Antiquités, as well as dealing with Russian-speaking clients.
Didier Zanette is a specialist in Oceanic art and has been appointed as an expert by the Court of Appeal in Noumea. His lifelong passion for collecting antique art began in his childhood, when he developed a deep appreciation for 18th- and 19th-century, particularly the Napoleonic Era. Since then, he has continued to expand his expertise, cultivating a strong sense of knowledge about rare objects and works of art, which has earned him a reputation as one of the most respected antique sellers and gallerists in France.
Having studied under renowned Parisian antiquarians, Zanette partnered with Anna Modigliani in 2017 to launch Modigliani Antiquités, where he brings his 30 years of experience in the antique trade.
